Colorscan is an interactive lighting installation installed in one of the main entry gates to the Skanderborg music festival. A camera is fixed in the gate and scans for and tracks vivid colors , such as a bright red rain-coat, in the entry area and the entire entry gate is then lit up in the selected color. A projector marks and follows the tracked target with a large X so that the audience can follow the scan and start playing and interacting to control the lighting of the gate.
